The Pond are going to Play for Life!
The Pond have been playing games this month, creating visual effects shots for a commercial for Playstation. Working closely with Director Dave Schofield, we have created magical portals and constellations in the night sky. The advert is now being shown on Playstations you tube channel having won first place in Mofilms competition.

Sumitomo and The Pond!
We've spent the last month working intensively on our latest project, a 30 second animated commercial for Sumitomo corporation. Airring on CNN shortly, the commercial explains the considerations and impact the Sumitomo Corporation have on their environment and the local people.

The Pond are feeling at home in the waterways!
The Pond are happy to be getting their feet wet this week with a new project for Trails Mid Wales. We have been asked to bring several beautiful illustrations to life to explain how canal locks work as well as to allow Henry Vaughn to recite his poem about the waterways.

The Pond are getting messy!
We've spent this week getting grubby, animating crumbling debris and falling soil from a lighthouse which bursts from the ground in BBC documentary 'Rome'. We used dynamic software to allow debris to bounce and break on impact.

Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre Opening
This week sees the opening of the brand new visitor centre at the Giants Causeway. We were commissioned to create a two and a half minute animation telling the mythical story of Finn McCool and the creation of the Giants Causeway. Our animation is now being shown in the visitor centre. Our characters have also been developed into mascots costumes and can be seen walking around the centre.

A Giant project for The Pond!
We have just begun work on a 2 minute character animation for the National Trust's visitors centre at the Giants Causeway.
We have started work on the storyboarding and character models for the piece which will tell the legend of how the Causeway was formed by Finn McCool.

The Pond are Seconds from Disaster!
We have just completed the Visual Effects for 2 episodes of the new series of 'Seconds from Disaster' for National Geographic channel.
We have been recreating low flying fighter jets to show the Cavalese cable car disaster as well as producing graphics to explain exactly what went wrong , both in Cavalese, and at the Bhopal gas tragedy in India.

Frozen in time!
We have just completed CG work for an advert which will air in Indonesia this week. The product is Lemon and Orange water and the style of the advert was a time slice effect showing dramatic action.
We were asked to create CG elements which floated in space and froze in time, either to increase the action, or where it was impossible to film the effect itself.
The advert has been really well recieved in Indonesia and we are really pleased with the results ourself.

What a transformation!
Have a look at the new 'Crash' advert, a car insurance advert which we have been working on.
We were asked to animate a car transforming and unfolding from its own seat. It was quite a task to fit an entire car into something the size of a briefcase but we are always up for a challenge.

The Pond has been Infested!
We worked closely with HG Films to create the visual effects for a brand new documentary produced by Darlow Smithson Productions to be shown on Animal Planet.
We have been multiplying alsorts of creepy crawlies and nasties, creating hidden lairs, ruining lovely houses and basically visualising peoples nightmares.
Using 3d crowd systems we have been able to produce thousands of ants and cockroaches amongst other things.

Another Helping hand for Vetivex!
Check out the latest addition to the Fluid Vet team, we have now completed the male version of the image.
We were asked to create a vet made from the saline solution vets use in their drips. The character was to show the supportive nature of the product
